Just when you thought Art and Yoga couldn’t get any better, we’ve added a third art form! Award-winning composer, guitarist, and pianist Neil Tatar will provide meditative instrumentals at Art and Yoga at 9 am Saturday, March 23.
The Hyde Collection presents the hour-long session in collaboration with Summit Yoga. Instructor Julie Coluccio will lead an energetic, rhythmic yoga workout for all experience levels. Julie will help participants find balance amid the bright, colorful photographs of The Hyde’s current exhibition, Colorama. The entire experience will be elevated by live music by Tatar, whose sound is known for its healing virtues.
June 15 and July 20 classes: Relaxing workout inspired by the artworks of From the Rooftops: John Sloan and the Art of the New Urban Space. Bring your yoga mat and begin your morning with art and relaxation.
Register today while there’s still space! Bring your yoga mat and begin your morning with thirty-six photographs reproduced from the large-scale images from Kodak’s forty-year Colorama advertising campaign originally displayed in New York City’s Grand Central Terminal.
REGISTRATION is $10 for members of the Museum or Summit Yoga and $12 for the general public.
